Unlike many other solutions that promise effectiveness, North House stems from the real business world. In every corner of our organization, you will find people who have lived the complexity of corporate governance – from leadership roles, from boardrooms, from bearing responsibility in regulated, business-critical environments.
In 2022, Sofia Beckman and I co-founded North House alongside Hidden Dreams, convinced that corporate governance urgently needed modernization. Governance shouldn’t hold businesses back – it should strengthen them.
During my 25 years at Nasdaq, I saw firsthand how strong governance drives competitiveness, resilience, and internal pride. It’s vital to business success – yet notoriously difficult to manage well. That’s why governing documents too often become mere compliance checkboxes or digital “tigers” – impressive on paper, but inert in practice.
North House is a dedicated effort to reform and empower the entire governance landscape. We started where manual, fragmented policy work begins – and we’re continuously expanding to cover more governance dimensions. Today, our solution guides organizations through the full policy lifecycle – from creation to implementation.

Julia has over 25 years experience from Financial Markets, as a CTO, COO and most recently CEO of Nasdaq Clearing. She is a Behavioral Scientist with long experience from highly regulated and systemically important businesses.
Clara has over 15 years of experience from TV, live broadcasting, and project management. With a long experience from work streams with high complexity, Clara brings expertise in navigating challenging projects and finding effective solutions.
Engineer and a full-stack wizard with a dynamic portfolio, honing his craft in agile startups to scaling innovations at giants like Nordea and IKEA. Brings a fusion of startup agility and corporate precision to our technical vision.
With over 4 years in startups and 3 years as a full-stack developer, Johan is focused on delivering clean, efficient code. Excited about building a great product, he brings a practical approach to solving technical challenges and driving development forward.
A seasoned entrepreneur, author, and co-founder of Pareto Business School, has a rich background as a former fund manager at Almi Invest. His entrepreneurial spirit and financial acumen is instrumental.
Anna is a PhD in governance, and current member of the Executive Management team at Getinge. She is passionate about business ethics, corporate responsibility and good governance. Anna is also a co-founder of the Nordic Business Ethics Initiative and Chairman of the Board at North House.
Founding partner and CEO, Hidden Dreams. Maria has a master’s degree in Industrial Economics from KTH and for the past ten years, Maria has worked with innovation, strategy, and business development in technology-heavy companies, from big giants like Apple to start-ups.
